What an incredible time I had at the Long Beach ISSE show!

I finally got to meet, up close and personal, the talented Sam Biddle from the U.K. and am excited to say we are going to arrange for her to do a workshop here in Canada in the fall--woo hoo!

I was thrilled to be able to judge alongside the very organized and keen eyed Carla Collier, head judge for Nailpro and the lovely Anita Lime-Sims. Jewell had a great playlist to groove to whilst all the competition was in action! I also took an opportunity to run a couple ideas for a cover by Nailpro editor Stephanie Yaggy, if she's not too caught up in her wedding plans---CONGRATS on that! It was really great to see my friend April too and she's excited to be able to rock the custom designed nails I made for her at an event coming soon. *they were in the photo on my last entry ;-)

I was very proud of the girls who had come in from Canada to compete--Angie, Brandy and Natasha---you ALL did GREAT! I am thrilled with your passion to succeed, overcome obstacles and want you to know you can do anything you put your mind to! Congrats Angie and Natasha for making top ten and congrats Brandy on your 3rd place Extreme Stilettos---those were amazing!

It was nice bumping into so many who I have not seen in such a while like Nailpro Cup Champion Lynn Lammers, Precision Nails Jaime schrabeck and OPI friends John, Stephanie, Michelle, Renee, Bruce, Gabe and most memorable ELSA!!! Love you girl--MUAH!

I was also able to have a meeting with Trang Nguyen from ONS Odyssey Nail Systems and am excited to be looking into a training and distribution opportunity here in Canada! I hope to make this available here VERY soon!

Back to the grind this week now as I have recovered from a slight bit of jet lag----sooooo excited to betrying out a couple fabulous ONS drill bits and designing with some new nail art supplies! That is always a highlight to find.

Stay tuned for exciting things to be happening this year, maybe even as soon as the ESI show in Toronto!

Fondly filing,
Michelle
